There are lots of ways to get involved in the All Born (in) Movement.
First and foremost, practice inclusion! If you are a parent, you live inclusion every day, in your family, at the grocery store, at the library. If you are a teacher, find ways to include every learner in every lesson. If you are a business owner, consider hiring an adult who experiences a developmental disability. If you are a neighbor, a friend, a doctor, look around you and decide what you will do today to spread inclusion in our community.
In more concrete terms, here are a few more ways to help:
Volunteer: whether you are a parent, professional or student, there is a place for you in the ABI movement
We’re always looking for new speakers, trainers, and professionals for the ABI conference and the Kindergarten cohort and other trainings throughout the year.
If you are a parent or a student with a few hours on your hands, we can always use some help in the Community Resourcefulness Center, answering phones, supporting families, helping with marketing, data entry and more.
If you would like to volunteer to help with planning and logistics for the All Born (In) conference, we would love to have you!
Donate: All Born (In) is a grassroots movement and we need your help and support to keep it growing and moving forward
